The SAGDA exponential impact strategy includes:

  • Strengthening SAGDA’s financial capability through intensified fund raising for donations and grants.
  • Deepening SAGDA’s relationship with SETA’s, becoming the leading provider of WIL for SETAs and thereby increasing its output of WIL opportunities from some 1 000 – 1 500 per annum to at least 10 000 per annum
  • Greatly improving the quality of its WIL through end-to-end client management of the graduate development pipeline combined with state of the art monitoring, evaluation and analytics.
  • Galvanising the energy, ideas and capabilities of its community of alumni and associates through creating a membership model and complementing it with a multi-sided technology platform (MSP) or “Mother Platform” that supports a vast range of developmental connections, opportunities and networks.
  • Extending the depth and impact of SAGDA’s enterprise development programmes through extended partnerships and a virtual enterprise accelerator linked to the MSP.
  • Modernising its research and advocacy capabilities through state of the art data analytics and partnerships.
  • Growing its governance and organisational capability and efficiency to meet the needs of its expanded scope and impact.

SAGDA is currently implementing an exponential impact transition strategy to consolidate its leadership, greatly enhance its impact in the sphere of graduate development and ride the global wave of technology-led opportunity created by the 4th Industrial Revolution.

SAGDA has embraced the National Development Plan  and government’s commitments to Radical Economic Transformation / Inclusive Growth and black advancement through BBBEE, skills development, the IPAP and other programmes.
